UFC 3-550-04 Resilient Installation Microgrid Design

The DERs operate autonomously per UFC 3-501-01 (Electrical Engineering) and UFC 3-550-01 (Exterior Electrical Power Distribution), and tend to be out of phase with each other. When the interconnection point is opened and the installation is disconnected from the external grid, the DERs must first synchronize before forming a microgrid.
